this moment: a little bit of sweetness


so. 

it's finally friday, huh?

this week was tough.

there were lots of moments that i'd like to forget. 

fortunately there were also a few wonderful moments thrown in with the bad.

mmm...sometimes chocolate chip cookies are the best medicine.

  5. I'm glad you had some good moments to even out some of the bad! I thought of you when I found out about the earthquake and tsunami--the people there will be in my thoughts.

  6. Yes, they do. The Mr. has been bringing me vegan versions home from Whole Foods because I've been too busy to bake. Lordy, I love those cookies. And the man who brought them, of course.

  11. I just made myself some chocolate chips using the super-fatty butter-flavored Crisco recipe. I threw all dieting caution to the wind, but eating them gave me a few moments of pure bliss. I can't even watch the tv anymore. And, I'm freaking out about the nuclear reactors. After reading "Hiroshima" I have major issues with that kind of thing.

  12. That's amazing....I had one of those weeks...coming home from work frustrated, writing frantically in my journal, talking with my husband and praying that things change....and I made coconut-pineapple cookies to soothe.
