2010 to-do list

An old photo, but that determined look is what I'm going for.

Crafting:
Sew an item of clothing (skirt or dress!)
Create a tutorial
Design my own crochet pattern
Crochet more hats
Give knitting another go
Make a quilt

Food:
Make homemade baguettes
Make mayonnaise
Eat more local foods
Switch to local milk
Try cooking Indian and Thai food at home

Health:
Walk more, ride less
Incorporate yoga into my daily routine to become more flexible. I'm starting to feel like an old lady.
Go hiking (I've never been to Red River Gorge and I'd love to go hiking there in 2010)

Friends:
Get together more with friends
Keep in touch with people--write, email, or call
See my long-lost friend Christine

Miscellaneous:
Light more candles
Pick more flowers
Watch less TV

There's a lot I want to accomplish in 2010. I might add on to this list periodically throughout the year.

What do you want to do in 2010?

  1. I think your list is impressive and I hope you accomplish everything that you've set out to do. I have a few of your to-do things on my list as well but not all! Hope your 2010 is a "10".

  2. I like how you organized your resolutions into categories. It's breaks it down, makes it easy to manage. Hey -- I'm going to give knitting a go this year. Let me know what you're going to start with. Just curious.

  3. Your list is an impressive one. I never bother with resolutions myself. I do have one little goal in mine though which is to get out all my rug hooking things and make something at some point during the year. My eternal goal is to be more patient with my kids.

  4. Hey Allison!! Thank you for posting your 2010 to-do list. I hope it will inspire me to reach for more than just "get through grad school." (Also, I love your "determined look" photo(!). The next time I take a picture, I'm going to ask everyone to "look determined" instead of just smiling [because who needs all those happy, smiley pics anyway?!]). Good luck with your first day back at school. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go hit the books right now... zzzzzzz.

  6. I made a goal to not wear the same two shirts over and over. And not to use canned products, well, hardly ever. I did not want to fail and stopped there! I love my sensible stone and hope all those other rocks out there stop sitting around naked soon. Yoyo loves it too. He especially loves to try to 'kill' it in the middle of the night!
