What are you doing these days?
* * * * *
I'm feeling quiet today. I just can't muster up many words. Some days seem meant for calm. I'm all whispers and tiptoes today. No worries. I'm sure I'll be back to singing and stomping soon.
Oooh, I've had that book sitting on my shelf for two years now, unread. I think now I may finally get around to adding it to the nightstand book stack.
ReplyDeleteall whispers and tiptoes sound lovely. I've had a long day full of overly-aggressive and extremely loud middle-school girls.
ReplyDeleteSo quiet is nice :)
We are actually playing Scrabble these days....And crocheting, of course.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm certainly nourishing and creating - maybe nourishing a little bit too much!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my framed mini-doily. I think you are partly responsible for my current doily obsession actually - one of the 'link within' windows showed me the fantastic doily cushions you'd made and I have a few very boring cushions that need prettying up!
Have a great weekend.
These are the keys to life, I think.
ReplyDeleteAtonement is one of my all time favorites.
We all have a few days like these. Enjoy the quiet slowness and things will be different in no time.
ReplyDeleteI have a house full of Scrabble-haters here- how is that POSSIBLE? I am plotting my garden these days, dreaming, trying to make the most out of winter.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love those quiet days. I treasure them highly as I don't get them very often. :)
ReplyDeleteI really love this post. Sometimes the calm, quiet days are the most soothing. <3
