Lemon Drop Swirl Hat + giveaway links

Meet the Lemon Drop Swirl Hat, a complete Christmas present! I can show it here because I am pretty sure the recipient doesn't read my blog.

I used the Divine pattern again and got inspiration for the flower from Deb at Virginia blue.

I personally love the flower, but I don't know if the person I'm giving it to will. I haven't sewn it on yet because I just can't decide. What do you think? Flower or no flower?

  1. Oh, I like the flower. I would want it on. Could you safety pin it on so it is removable? If not, sew it on!

  2. Man, I was hoping you'd be giving that hat away! Guess I'll just have to make it myself :)

  3. I *love* the flower! I like Amy's idea of a removable flower. The hat is just wonderful, too (and will soon be in my queue).

  5. I love the flower, but can I suggest that you sew a brooch back on it and then they can either wear it on the hat or assessorise their cardy??

  6. I love plain beanies but the flower is still cool. Very girlie. The color is so beautiful. Wonderful gift!

  7. I love the color! So pretty. I like Deb's idea about sewing a brooch back onto the flower. That way the person can have the best of both worlds.

I took a peak at those lists and my brain turned to jello. I get overwhelmed when I haven't read my Google Reader for a couple of days.

  8. Keep the flower on -- it's very sweet. I'm really into yellow these days. I just picked up four skeins of a honey-colored yarn today on my lunch hour.
